A Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (commonly referred to as PMO, Project Delivey Office or a P3O®) is a support organization that can be either temporary or permanent, physcial or virtual – all with the key objective to transparency, execution uniformity and focus on ensuring a viable business case.

The services that a P3O delivers can be categorized within the following areas:

  • Centre of Excellence;
    Owns, maintains, markets and trains people in the methods
  • Advisory services;
    Senior experts that helps project- or programme managers by coaching or advice. Assist Senior Management with performing Health Check, Quality Assurance, Benefit Reviews, 2nd opinion, etc.
  • Support function;
    Status reporting, establish a foundation for decision for senior management

Peak help our clients in identifying  which P3O setup is most useful in the given situation, establish the business case for the P3O, establish an infrastructure, roles and responsibilities and processes and can assist in identifying or screening employees for the P3O.
