A Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (commonly referred to as PMO, Project Delivey Office or a P3O®) is a support organization that can be either temporary or permanent, physcial or virtual – all with the key objective to transparency, execution uniformity and focus on ensuring a viable business case.

The services that a P3O delivers can be categorized within the following areas:

• Centre of Excellence;
  Owns, maintains, markets and trains people in the methods
• Advisory services;
  Senior experts that helps project- or programme managers by coaching or advice. Assist Senior Management with performing Health Check, Quality Assurance, Benefit Reviews, 2^nd opinion, etc.
• Support function;
  Status reporting, establish a foundation for decision for senior management
