MSP® Foundation & Practitioner in English
This course is only held as a company course. The open course will be in Danish, but with English material and English exam.
MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) Foundation and Practitioner is an intensive course which aims at equipping you with a comprehensive knowledge of the MSP method as well as enabling your successful completion of both MSP Foundation and Practitioner exams.

Participating in the MSP Foundation and Practitioner course with give you a thorough knowledge of the MSP method. You will also gain knowledge about the principles and flow of a programme, and the opportunity to test your methodical skills through exercises. Upon successful completion of your exams, you will receive the MSP Foundation and Practitioner certifications.
This course is relevant, if you want a thorough knowledge of the MSP method and either individually or organisation wide want a controlled approach to programme management and working at a strategic level. You are involved in programmes as e.g. programme manager or project executive.
This course focuses on understanding process oriented programme management using the MSP method. Experience in project and programme management is recommended.
The course is held as an intensive 5-day daytime course without overnight accommodation. The course runs from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Day 1 – 4, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m on Day 5. Please note that evening work will be required.
As participant you are encouraged to actively contribute during course activities which alternate between theoretical reviews and exercises. Theory will be reviewed in relation to practical examples. You will also have the opportunity to test your progress against mock exam papers.
On Day Three of the course, the Foundation exam is held, and on Day Five, the final day, of the course, the Practitioner exam is held. The 60-minutes Foundation exam consists of a multiple choice paper of 75 questions. To pass the exam, you must have 35 correct answers out of 75.
You may not bring the MSP manual or any other aids to the exam. You will receive your exam result immediately after the exam. Should you, contrary to expectation, not pass the Foundation exam on Day Three, you will have opportunity to take a re-examination the same day.
The course concludes with a 2½ hour long Practitioner exam. This exam is based on a case to test your understanding of the principles of the method. The exam consists of 8 questions that are worth 80 marks in total. A minimum score of 40 marks is required to pass. If English is not your mother-tongue, you can request an extra 30 minutes to answer the exam questions.
PeopleCert will mark your exam papers, and you will usually receive your final result within app. 2 workdays. Your Practitioner certificate will expire after five years, requiring a re-examination to uphold the certificate.

Approximately three weeks before course start, you will receive the MSP manual and a pre-course workbook including exercises. The pre-course workbook consists of exercises and recommendations of relevant reading in the manual. We recommend that you spend an estimated 30 hours going through the pre-course work book prior to your participation in the course.
Our trainers are highly experienced consultants, actively providing advice and assistance in relation to project, programme and portfolio management. This means that they bring both a high level of practical experience and theoretical knowledge to the course.
